Well, it's that time again - to reunite with old friends and
reminisce about old times and catching up on the last
40, 50, 60 + years of our lives. We are planning something
different this time around, I know you won't be disappointed!
If we don't like these arrangements, depending on feedback,
we can go back to our regular routine for the next reunion.
There is no sign-in sheet, so if you're planning on attending, just post your name on the messge board with number attending or contact either Marybeth Wiley: Mb_Wiley@yahoo.com or Sylvia Huante: AGOAlum@aol.com. For those not wishing to join us for dinner on Saturday, the fee is only $25.00. (this means Friday only) Besides additional expenses such as decorations, printing & stamps. rental of the hospitality rooms, etc. a lot of time & work is involved into the planning of these events.
Please RSVP with your check no later than July 1, in the amount of either $50 or $25 if you plan on attending. Since we would like a headcount by July 2nd, it’s "imperative" that we "receive" your check no later than July 1st. Late fee's - add $10.00.
The Aloft is a beautiful hotel, which has a lounge type setting, but I would say it's more like a fun room for adults. Plenty of room to mingle, Unlike the previous places we won't be restricted to one area! Photo's available by clicking here Photo's This should give you an idea of what the place looks like.
We are still working on the dinner arrangements which will be catered in. This will be determined at a later date, since there are so many places to choose from . . . all good menus so don't worry! You have your choice of eating in the hospitality room or bring your food out to the huge lounge area, near the beautiful fireplace, the bar, or go out to the outside patio which also faces the swimming pool area.
We have reserved a wing on the 2nd floor (overlooking the lounge area) for at least 15 rooms. So if you want to get the discounted room rate of $69.00 per night, please book your reservation ASAP. click here to reserve your rooms Check-in time 3:00 pm.
Just let them know that you are with the "Angel Guardian" group. Your choice of either 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds. If you wish your room on a separate floor, advise them when you book your rooms. All rooms include a 1.1 Cubic-foot Mini-fridge. If you want to bring your own drinks, milk, OJ, beverages, etc. they must be kept in your rooms. All beverages, alcoholic / non-alcoholic, that you do bring, are not allowed in the main lounge area. All drinks must purchased downstairs at the "Bar" or in the "Food Pantry".

30 rooms have already been reserved, so we have added more rooms to our group The deadline for this rate is June 25, so if you are planning on staying overnight, please reserve your rooms ASAP. Since we are getting closer to the date, they may book-up fast. Anyone booking a room "after June 25", will have to pay $99.00 - $109.00, or whatever the room rates are for that weekend ... depending on availability!
